Michael's Message
My name is Michael Medico. I am in the 2028 graduate year at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in Buffalo, New York. I am interested in playing baseball at the college level. I feel as if I can be a great asset to a program on and off the field.
I have been playing travel baseball since the age of 7 in the Lou Gehrig and Thunderwolves Baseball organizations both based in Buffalo, NY. I am currently on the Thunderwolves Scout team. Additionally, I play for the St. Joseph Collegiate Institute Baseball team, making the varsity team as a sophomore. Recently, I received Perfect Game All Tournament Team honors at the 2025 WWBA Sophomore World Championship Tournament in Fort Meyers, Fl. In addition to that, I was named to the 2026 All-Tournament team at the 16u Perfect game CABA HS Aluminum Bat National Championship in Cincinnati, OH. This summer I posted a batting average of .378. I also recently participated in Prep-Baseball's NYS Games in Cortland, NY wearing the number 37 jersey. I reached a max exit velocity of 95 MPH, hit a max distance of 315+ feet, and was clocked at 80 MPH across the diamond.
I have a 4.0 GPA and have been on the High Honor Roll every quarter throughout High School. I have not taken the SAT yet, but I plan to at the start of my senior year. I have also been honored by being selected to my school's Lasallian Leadership team as well as being chosen as a Collegiate Ambassador. At this time, I am unsure about what I want to major in at college, so my goal is to attend a college or university where I can play baseball while growing as a person.
